Another weekend of Super Rugby action is upon us, as the southern hemisphere’s best slug it out for playoff spots in round 13 of the competition.
As things stand, the Crusaders top the overall standings and are guaranteed to maintain their position regardless of the weekend’s results, while the Rebels and the Bulls are neck and neck with the Brumbies and the Sharks at the summit of their respective conferences.
The action kicks off on Friday with the New Zealand derby between the Blues and the Hurricanes, followed by the all-Aussie tussle involving the Rebels and the Reds in Melbourne.
The first sighting of a South African side is later on in the day, as the Bulls welcome the Crusaders to Loftus Versfeld in an evening kick off.
Saturday starts with the Jaguares paying a visit to the Highlanders in Dunedin, before the Sharks look to build on their impressive performance last time out as they meet the Chiefs in Hamilton.
The day’s action concludes in the afternoon when the Lions take on the Waratahs in Wellington.
There is also a rare Sunday fixture, as the Brumbies and the Sunwolves slug it out in Canberra.
