Mamelodi Sundowns striker Jeremy Brockie may have a tough time adding to his goal tally on the field, but he has had no struggles banging them in elsewhere.
The New Zealand international has struggled for game time of late, making just 11 league appearances all season – the last of which coming in January, in the shock 2-0 defeat to AmaZulu, where he had a 45-minute run.
Having spent the next eight league matches on the stands, it seems the Kiwi marksman has put his time on the stands to good use, judging by his latest revelation on Twitter… which could also explain the groin injury that kept him out of the recent clash against Orlando Pirates.
On Tuesday, he posted a photo of his 16-week pregnant wife Jessica Brockie, who is expecting the couple’s third child, with a rather cheeky caption.
“What happens when you keep a striker in the stands for too long?? He starts scoring more at home. My beautiful wife 16 weeks pregnant.”

Keeping up with the Brockies
The pregnancy comes just over a year after Jessica had given birth to a baby boy after taking up the role of surrogate parent.
She had carried the child of family friends, Bec and Gareth Arena for most of 2017, giving birth in January the following year.
Her proud husband was beaming with pride after her selfless deed.
