Manchester United gave away a one-goal lead to lose at Wolves on Tuesday, dealing a blow to their Premier League top four hopes.

Scott McTominay netted his first United goal to put the visitors into a 13th-minute lead at Molineux.

But the hosts pulled level on 25 minutes when Raul Jimenez teed up Diogo Jota.

And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men were further hobbled early in the second half when Ashley Young picked up a par of quickfire yellow cards for fouls on Jota.

Wolves completed their turnaround in the 77th minute when Chris Smalling deflected into his own net to scupper United’s hopes of going third in the EPL table.

Watford 4-1 Fulham

Fulham collapsed to defeat at Watford on Tuesday, sealing an instant return to the Championship next season.

An Abdoulaye Doucoure special fired the Hornets ahead before Ryan Babel ensured the visitors went into the half time break on level terms.

That held true until the 63rd minute when Will Hughes restored the hosts’ advantage.

Talismanic Troy Deeney and Kiko Femenia added the gloss to keep Javi Gracia’s side trundling along in mid-table and Fulham staring at the abyss.
