Kaizer Chiefs have launched a ticket special that will see fans attending their next two home fixtures for the price of one ticket.

The club squares off against the Baroka at FNB Stadium on Saturday – A match which is their penultimate home fixture at the 90 000-seater this season.

The Glamour Boys have three home games remaining, with one of those – against Lamontville Golden Arrows on 23 April – also taking place in Soweto.

Their only other home match still to be played is against Free State Stars, and will be played at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Saturday, 4 May.

Despite being the country’s most supported club, Kaizer Chiefs has struggle to translate that to bums on seats in their home games, particularly at FNB Stadium, where the sight of empty orange seats has become a familiar one in recent years.

Outside of clashes against rivals Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns, the Soweto giants have enjoyed more home support elsewhere in the country, as they have hosted teams in Durban, Port Elizabeth and, more recently, Nelspruit.

Chiefs are currently seventh on the PSL log with 36 points, nine behind the table-topping Sundowns.

Kick off on Saturday is at 18:00 (SAST).
