Manchester United v Barcelona Champions League team news.
Marcus Rashford, Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera are all carrying niggles into Manchester United’s quarterfinal first leg meeting with Barcelona at Old Trafford.
The trio have all been listed among the doubtful starters but only Rashford turned up at the team hotel in Carrington despite suffering from an ankle injury.
Matic and Herrera are among the four United players who would be suspended for the second leg if they pick up a booking against Barcelona on Wednesday. The other two are skipper Antonio Valencia and fullback Luke Shaw. Shaw is the only one of the quartet likely to start and will have to put that out of his mind as he goes about his defensive duties.
Academy starlet James Garner was present in the 20-strong United squad spotted entering the Lowry hotel ahead of a monumental Champions League clash.
Matic and Herrera have not been conclusively ruled out of the clash and players have been known to arrive at the team hotel later for home fixtures in the Champions League.
Skipper Valencia and concussed defender Eric Bailly have been ruled out of contention by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer already.
Barcelona are pretty close to full strength but Rafinha remains absent with a long-term knee injury. Ousmane Dembélé has apparently recovered from a hamstring complaint but will likely take up a place on the Barca bench.
The visitors right back Nélson Semedo will miss the second leg if he is booked.
Phillipe Coutinho is not expected to start but his former Liverpool compatriot and current Barcelona teammate Luiz Suarez will get to reacquaint himself with the Old Trafford faithful from the off.

Ajax v Juventus Champions League team news
