Kaizer Chiefs news: Pule Ekstein may have said his goodbyes to the Khosi faithful
Pule Ekstein sent a cryptic message to his Twitter followers, which could be a “goodbye” to Kaizer Chiefs fans, amidst an imminent exit.

The latest post from Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Pule Ekstein might just suggest that an end to his stint at the club is drawing to a close.
The 28-year-old has only weeks remaining on his contract with the Naturena-based outfit, and is said to have hit a dead end when it comes to negotiations.
Having finally proven his worth in the gold and black, several suitors have swooped in closer and judging by a post shared on Twitter, he has resigned himself to finding a new home ahead of the new season.
In his third season since enjoying some airtime in the first team, the player has made 23 appearances in all competitions, netting three goals in what has been a season of slim pickings for the Glamour Boys.

Although modest, his contributions have been felt by coach Ernst Middendorp, who would rather have the player going forward.
“You know sometimes players are busy with private issues‚ busy with certain circumstances. If they can be made responsible for it or not‚ I don’t know actually,” the German said when quizzed about his availability earlier in the week.
“He is a very important player in the squad and deserves to play like every player who is 100% committed and directed and shows it on the training ground.

Ekstein made a brief cameo during his side’s one-all draw against Lamontville Golden Arrows, after he had been a no show during an identical result against Black Leopards, just over a week prior.
