Aubrey Qwana – ‘Imvula Mlomo’

Apple music describes 27-year-old Aubrey Qwana as “the new voice of Zulu soul”. The singer blends maskandi and pop to give South Africa a beautiful take on the fusion of the two.

The KwaZulu-Natal native has collaborated with Emtee, Sho Madjozi and Major Leage DJz. He released his debut song Ngaqonya with DJ Tira and that became a big hit.

His nine-track album Imvula Mlomo is mostly solo and features Emtee on Ngakwenzani. The musician is certainly a force to be reckoned with.

  • Hostela
  • Ngakwenzani (feat Emtee)
