Vivat Bacchus, a London restaurant with a strong South African flavour has offered some of the best South African wines available to their restaurant patrons since 2003.
Branching out in the wine world
A few years ago, the long term relationship with some of the most respected and well-known wineries in South Africa set the grounds for an excellent winemaking partnership.
Birthed from a shared passion for the best wine available, The Vivat Bacchus own-wine label was born. The label has now grown to a range of nine fine wines.
South African wine available online
The owners have now selected a list of the best-selling wines from their wine list, which of course includes their range of VB wines, for their newly established on-line wine website, www.VBwines.co.uk.
So if you are looking for great SA wines that offer amazing value for your money, and the VB own-label wines fit this description perfectly, this is the perfect place to shop. Amongst others Meerlust, De Toren, Rustenberg, Paul Cluver, Graham Beck and Doolhof are also featured.
Vivat Bacchus gives back
Since 2017, a 50p from the sale of every bottle of Vivat Bacchus own-label wines has gone to charitable projects in South Africa.
As a result of wine sales, the Kaapzicht winery community school now has a new floor, as well as air conditioning. Alongside this, donations have been made to the HearX foundation 3E (Ears and Eyes for Education) project in Paarl in the Western Cape.
