Critics’ reviews

Opinion is divided on this one. While Peter Travers from Rolling Stone said Night School is “a movie that never should have happened,” Tara McNamara from Common Sense Media said:

Haddish and Hart are a comedic dream team: Her blunt, oh-no-you-didn’t style is the perfect foil for Hart’s brand of “let me explain” humor.

Furthermore, Owen Gleiberman from Variety said the movie quickly turned into a “mid-life ‘Welcome Back, Kotter’ for the age of the gig economy.”
