Introducing Africa’s first “green coffee”. Arise Coffee is a creative collaboration between Tribe Coffee Roastery and Greenpop.

We’re all in need a little good news and with our planet showing evident signs of healing as a positive outcome of COVID-19, there’s no better time to help, in whatever way you can, no matter how big or small the change.

With a belief in igniting social and environmental change by making a positive contribution to the communities we all live and work in, this is a social cause disguised as some seriously tasty coffee.

This coffee plants trees

As a sister brand to Tribe Coffee Roasting, Jake Easton (founder and co-owner) believes it starts with “us”.

Their mission in the launch of Arise coffee is to create a way for people to enjoy good coffee whilst knowing they are making a difference, with little extra effort needed from their side.

A planted tree for every 3kg of coffee sold

Dubbed as a “revolution you can afford” they achieve their goals by roasting ethically sourced quality coffee beans, choosing responsible packaging and marketing materials and then of course – by donating a tree for every 3kg of coffee sold.

With these trees being planted in forest restoration projects across Sub-Saharan Africa, this means with every sip of Arise coffee, you’re playing a small part in expanding forests, protecting habitats and easing climate change.

Coffee with a cause

As if the incredibly eco-conscious packaging and gift potential aren’t enough to draw your eye in, perhaps knowing that, due to their link with Greenpop, for every 3kg of coffee you buy a tree will be planted on your behalf, will do the trick.

It’s a revolution too beautiful not to back and it’s also one we can all afford. The basic premise is that ‘it starts with us’ drinking coffee every morning and accepting your responsibility for the planet.
