Montecasino is set to host SA’s first Pod Party this November!

About South Africa’s first official Pod Party Music Festival

Yes, Locally Whipped Productions is proud to present South Africa’s first official Pod Party Music Festival – A New Day Out, in association with Garmin. The event is set to take place at Montecasino in Johannesburg on two days – 28 and 29 November, with live music performances from a host of SA’s top-tier artists (all while complying to COVID-19 protocols).

It is said that A New Day Out is a unique event that offers music fans a safe environment to enjoy the festival from the comfort of their very own socially distanced pod, that will also consist of seats for four friends and/or family, as well as a variety of complementaries included. Event-goers will be able to order food and beverages, which will be delivered directly to their pod.

With the entertainment industry put on hold due to the current pandemic, we are proud to offer a platform that enables us to host an exciting and premier show in the safest way possible. Playing a part that will help further re-open the industry and give music fans a day out with their favourite artists,” says organiser, Ryan van der Spuy.
