Family owned and run winery, Paul Cluver Wines, are long-time friends of Vivat Bacchus and their wines have flowed out of the cellars since the doors first opened in 2003.
When one of the family is visiting the UK VB co-owner Gerrie can’t help but get together and put on a show for the customers.
Wine dinner with Liesl Cluver
This year, this will happen on 20 March at the Farringdon branch. The evening will be featuring a range of Paul Cluver wines, carefully paired with delicious dishes (and don’t forget cheese from THAT cheese room) crafted by VB Head Chef, Ferenc Perjesi.
Cluver marketing boss Liesl Cluver will be there and will talk about life on a South African wine farm and give insights into their amazing array of wines; amongst others their famous Sauvignon Blanc, Seven Flags Pinot Noir and the wonderful Riesling Noble Late Harvest (for the cheese). 20 – 24 May is that time of the year again… Vivat Bacchus will host a dazzling array of Cape wineries (15 plus) at the annual SA Wine Festival.
A veritable feast of wonderful wine, spectacular food and a great atmosphere, with winemakers and personalities presenting wines at the tasting and over dinner.
