We’ve survived voting day, and now we are waiting in anticipation for the results. Something tells me we’re going to need a proper Netflix binge-session with plenty snacks and a weighted blanket when this is all over.

Enter Netflix. There as so many new shows coming to the streaming giant this month, we don’t even know where to start. We’ve rounded up six of the best for you to enjoy.

When They See Us

Based on a true story that gripped the country, When They See Us chronicles the notorious case of five teenagers of colour, labeled the Central Park Five, who were convicted of a rape they did not commit.

The four-part limited Netflix series will focus on the five teenagers from Harlem – Antron McCray, Kevin Richardson, Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana and Korey Wise.

Beginning in the spring of 1989, when they were first questioned about the incident, the series will span 25 years, highlighting their exoneration in 2002 and the settlement reached with the city of New York in 2014.

The crime-comedy drama was created by Jenna Bans, also known for Grey’s Anatomy and Off The Map. Rest assured, Netflix renewed the season for a third season as well.

Lucifer (season 4)
