You know when you were growing up and your parents told you
that “princess” isn’t a legit job? Well, they were wrong. According to Archie Harrison
Mountbatten-Windsor’s (or Baby Sussex) birth certificate, that’s exactly what
Meghan Markle’s job is.
Under British law, all births must be registered within six
weeks. Once done so, birth certificates become public records. The birth
certificate reveals some interesting details, amongst them, Markle’s official

Archie’s birth certificate lists his parents’ occupations as
“Prince and Princess of the United Kingdom”. Kate Middleton’s occupation
was listed similarly on her children’s’ birth certificates, so it’s not that big
of a deal. But it’s a big deal if you’re not swanning about palaces.
The couple are also known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but Prince and Princess of a whole country sounds much fancier, doesn’t it?
The couple will celebrate their first wedding anniversary on Sunday 19 May 2019.
