As reported by eNCA, the billionaire talk show host paid America’s newest TV sensation, Noah, a visit on the Daily Show.
Oprah Winfrey sits down with Trevor Noah
The chemistry between the two was organic throughout the interview which, by the way, was Winfrey’s first on the show.
The 65-year-old is currently on a media tour, promoting her latest book, The Path Made Clear: Discovering Your Life’s Direction & Purpose.
In between scenes, Noah usually engages with his audience off-air and uses that time to brush up on his comedy by sharing hilarious stories.
This time around, he had Winfrey with him and so he opened the floor for two questions that the audience would’ve liked to ask.
The ‘regular’ things Winfrey gets up to
While they pondered, Noah wanted to know what ‘regular’ things Winfrey gets up to.
The 65-year-old admitted that she travels with her own bread and avocados Although, an avocado orchid is not really something regular people would care much about.
“You just said I am going to tell you something normal and now you’ve just said I have my own avocado orchid,” Noah said, barely able to keep his composure.
The audience put forth two questions for Winfrey, one regarding her plans on opening a school in the United States and another about mental health awareness in African communities.
Winfrey teases upcoming production with Prince Harry
Winfrey revealed that she was naturally thinking about following up the Oprah Winfrey School of Leadership in South Africa with a sister institute in her home country.
She also revealed that she was currently working on a production with Prince Harry and Apple about mental health awareness in black communities.
Before leaving, Winfrey and Noah surprised the audience with copies of the 65-year-old’s book.
