Grilled sticky lamb rib recipe

When you live on a farm and have a craving for your favourite ribs, the only option is to make your own finger licking ribs. The amazing aroma of the grilling meat draws everybody to the kitchen, even the dogs.

Serve with any sides of your choice – french fries, baked potato or sweetcorn bread. Try this sweetcorn bread recipe as the perfect accompaniment to these delicious sweet and sticky ribs.

Ingredients

• 2 tablespoon butter

• 1/4 cup vegetable oil

• 1 garlic clove, crushed    

• 1/4 cup brown sugar

• 1/4 cup worchester sauce

• 1 tablespoon honey

• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method

• In a small saucepan, heat the butter and oil. Add the garlic. Stir in the rest of the ingredients over medium heat. Reduce to a thick sauce consistency.
• Grill the lamb ribs for five to six minutes a side. Spice to taste.
• Brush the marinade on both sides repeatedly, turning repeatedly to prevent burning.

• Serve with fries, baked potato, sweetcorn bake and salad.
