It’s almost time for mince pies and merriment! While you wait for all the festive fun, DStv has plenty of entertainment to help you count down the days.

When a woman decides to document the drama of life during the festive season with her fiancé and his very Afrikaans family, she gets some unexpected fame in A Boere Krismis. But things begin to unravel when her storytelling makes them look more silly than serious.

Have you ever wondered how your fur baby would survive without you? In Pets United, a series of unfortunate events leaves pampered pets alone without their human owners. They must learn to overcome major obstacles and band together to survive.

Gaining a remarkable 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, Knives Out is an ensemble movie that throws back to the old days of ‘whodunits’. Film fans and critics are united in their praise: with plenty of star power, this movie is filled with talent and showmanship.

In a limited series, the first season of The Third Day stars Jude Law as a grieving father drawn to a small island off the coast of England. When he begins to experience unusual activity, the locals’ reaction makes his visit more concerning.

For those who love unsolved mysteries, the story of Jessica Chambers may be familiar. In Jessica Chambers: An ID Murder Mystery, a 19-year-old girl is found next to her car with burns all over her body. To this day, the locals of the small town where the gruesome attack took place are still startled and mystified at who could have done it.

And for creepy crawlies of a different type, Swamp People: Serpent Invasion looks at the growing and nearly unstoppable domination of Burmese pythons in the Florida Everglades. Fortunately, the Cajun Navy are up to the task of hunting and relocating these dangerous beasts.

With all this entertainment, you’ll be on the edge of your seat from 4 to 10 December – only with DStv
